Pooja Dhingra is a pastry chef, social media influencer, author, owner and founder of Le15 Patisserie. From the bistro-lined boulevards of Paris to the bustling streets of busy Mumbai, it’s been a long journey for this macaron queen. She made her passion her profession and did not let anything else come in the way.

Hard work and determination have helped her reach where she is today — three patisseries, one cafe, one studio, two books with the third on its way, and an entire social media empire to back her up. Her positive outlook on life has been a big part of where she is today. Her recipe to success? Focus, determination, courage and a whole lot of not giving a damn about what anyone else says.

The first time Pooja tasted a macaron was in Paris. She was appalled by the fact that these were not available in India and took this upon herself. Although she eventually discovered the challenges that came with it, she finally got her perfect macaron.

However, this was just the beginning. Her next step was marketing and this is where everybody’s best friend ‘social media’ came in handy.

Like in any other business, she faced a lot of challenges in the beginning — and the fact that she was a young girl when starting out didn’t help either. While some may have doubted her, others were there to support her.
